Justin began his hospitality career in 2008 at The Art Institute of Atlanta, where he honed his culinary skills while working at Livingston Restaurant within the Georgian Terrace Hotel. During his time there, he trained under Gary Mennie, a prominent Atlanta chef at the time. After graduating with honors in 2010, Justin moved to New Orleans, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in a culinary community that is highly regarded around the nation.

In 2011, he began working at John Folse and Rick Tramonto’s Restaurant R’evolution before he took the helm of his first kitchen at Maximo’s Italian Restaurant, a well-regarded establishment that provided invaluable experience and introduced him to a network of influential chefs within the New Orleans culinary scene. During this period, he collaborated and consulted with some of the city's most distinguished chefs, further refining his expertise.

In 2017, Justin joined the team at John Harris’s Bouligny Tavern, where he worked under chef Christie Plaissance. Their excellent mentorship and guidance helped prepare him to take the next step in his career.

In 2022, Justin relocated to Lake Placid, where he was given the opportunity to reopen The Interlaken Inn and Restaurant. His primary focus has been on maintaining exceptional food quality and cost efficiency, solidifying the restaurant’s reputation as one of the finest dining destinations in the region.
